Step-By-Step: Installation-XAMPP-v5.6.14-20151101_1757

1. Installation Steps:-
(a) Download XAMPP v5.6.14
(b) Run package with installation path to d:\xampp
(c) Start XAMPP by running d:\xampp\xampp-control.exe as windows administrator
(d) Start MySQL from task bar XAMPP icon
(e) Start Apache from task bar XAMPP icon
(f) Open URL http://localhost/
(g) Click on 'phpMyAdmin'
(h) Set new password for 'root' & 'pma' users
(j) Update passwords in phpMyAdmin config file 'D:\xampp\phpMyAdmin\config.inc.php' for both 'root' & 'pma'
(k) Open URL http://localhost/
(l) Installation of XAMPP completed for Apache & MySQL
